Recovering from Christmas

First i want to say thankyou to those who ive managed to find on here, some i can read but cant add so i need to work on that one, mr scribbs for one.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our 3 Maltese friends who have been here since 23rd December. While i loved every minute it was hard work and today i feel washed out. We had some great times though. My penfriend supports Manchester United football club so we spent the day in Manchester going around Old Trafford Ground. I guess if you are interested in football it was exciting, but just give me the shops anytime, now that IS exciting!

We had to visit casualty ( ER ) while they were here as one had a bad asthma attack, we put it down to it being so cold, one day it got down to minus 4. They aren't used to cold weather.

So today its trying to get back to normal. I miss the company but it sure is nice to have my space back again...

Wishing you all a very happy new year ...God bless you

Susananne

  1. Funny how entertaining guests just wipes a person out. I was totally fried, toasted and done the day after my family was here for Christmas Eve. Get some rest!

  4. No matter how much we love our guests, it's always a sigh of relief when they leave, and things get back to normal. Spend today just relaxing. Hugs.

  9. Hi Susan :)

Yes it's hard to breathe when we have asthma or lung issues in the coldness of wintertime!

That's another reason I moved to St Pete!

Glad you can get some R&R and it's nice that the new year has began,

we all (most all) have new blogging homes too.

Hmmm, I feel blessed, yes I do! :)

  12. There used to be a teevee program called the Sandbaggers which had lots of scenes shot in Malta. The place always intrigued me and so when my daughter was living in Kensington we took the opportunity to fly down there for a weekend visit. It did not disappoint.

As a travel agent, you must have seen some of the fares for the NCL 12 night cruise out of Barcelona which also stops there (as well as Egypt). *sigh*
